I know this thread has been done before, but my Dad and I rewatched A League Of Their Own tonight, and it doesn't matter how many times we've seen it, the end in Cooperstown always tugs at our heartstrings.

Maybe it taps into our own memories playing organized team sports when we were younger, but no matter the reason, it kinda feels good when a film can elicit genuine feels. The ending to Cool Runnings gets to us similarly.

What movies still get to you, regardless of how many times you've seen them? Or are my Dad and I a couple of babies.

You do realize Joe Montana came out and basically said Rudy was completely false and total bullshite, right?

I have a hard time buying into ‘true’ stories like this that are completely Hollywood made. Blindside is another one I cringe when people buy into it. Even Oher came out and bashed the movie.

Guardians 2 when Yondu dies - the funeral scene with Cat Stevens playing in the background gets me every time.

The greatest showman when the theater is on fire. Hugh is told Zac is still in there. Hugh pauses for a split second as he looks at his wife and kids before rushing in. The horror from his wife and kids that their father is going to die.

I feel no greater emotion than when I see scenes like that in movies.

Most entries in this thread are sad movies, or super sweet/sad parts of movies, etc. I thought this was supposed to be movies that made you "irrationally" emotional? These are all supposed to make you feel things.

I can't watch this movie again. As good as it is it isn't worth the emotional struggle

** this thread reminds me of the clip w/ Bert Kreischer straight up BALLING on the Opie Show when they play him a clip from the Time Traveler's wife
