James Cameron and Arnold were suppose to make a Planet of the Apes film in the 90s. John Hughes had a script for Home Alone 3 that was to be filmed back to back with Home Alone 2 because of Mac's age. Batman 5 starring Robin Williams was suppose to be made but plans were scrapped after Batman and Robin.

That show needs to be made.

I'm disappointed that Aronofsky keeps attaching his name to great-sounding projects but keeps dropping out at the last minute - Batman: Year One, The Wolverine, Robocop, etc.

The Halo movie looked like it was gonna be cool. The script reviews I saw for Mike Myers' Sprockets movie said it was hilarious. The original version of Where the Wild Things Are was supposed to be amazing too.

The remake of Casablanca that was to star - wait for it - Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez.

Just to watch the hate fest, of which I would have been a willing participant. Can you imagine how shitty that would have been?

I also wanted to see the planned sequel to Making the Grade - Tourista. They promoted in in the credits to MTG, but it never happened. I wanted to see Palmer and Eddie in action again.

Neil Blomkamp would knock Halo out of the park if they gave him a decent script. I don't know why the studio won't just offer it to him.

My personal favorite -- a remake of Red River to have starred...

Sylvester Stallone and Victor Mature

They recast all the voices and basically reshot the entire movie. If they saved anything from the original it was maybe 5-10% from what I've read.

Kubrick's Napoleon movie would have been amazing. much of the research informed Barry Lyndon, but obviously kubricks talents would have been perfect to deal with such a major historical figure.

Kubrick planned on doing AI and a movie about Custer after Eyes Wide Shut. He was gonna retire after the Custer movie. AI turned out alright but I would have liked to have seen that Custer movie too.

I wonder what the plot would've been.

Stayed tuned for The Hangover 3 since Hangover 1/2: Home Alone 1/2 formula.
