I think having a son also made that hit harder for me than it would've several years ago.

Having kids will do strange things to your emotions.

I tear up every time the music for "How Far I'll Go" from Moana hits because I imagine my girls feeling that sort of pride and power in themselves. That's exactly how I want to raise them to feel. It hits me hard.

Lots pf good ones already but I have a weird one for most people.

AI was hated by many but the thought of the robot kid stuck for millenium seeing what he desired aka love of a parent within his sight but out of reach touched something in me. At the time I was dating a woman with an autistic child and the similarities to Haley Joe Osmet and her son just hit me.

Ending scene from "ET". John Williams' score is incredible.

The charge on Fort Wagner from "Glory".

Ewan McGregor in this scene absolutely destroys me every time I re-watch this movie.

Similar to what another poster said about Diggory's dad in Goblet of Fire - the actor put so much into that line it just rips you.

McGregor put so much into his crying here that it hurts.

This scene in Click really broke me as a 12 year old. Can't imagine having to re-watch the last time you ever spoke to your dad and you were an arse to him. Then he says "I love you son" and walks away forever.

The scene in Friday Night Lights (movie) when Boobie Miles cleans out his locker, and gets in the car with his uncle and breaks down. Man that just absolutely kills me. A kid realizing that his entire life's dream is gone.

Just watched this again the other day. These 2 scenes get me a little

The Death Scene

But I think the funeral scene where the ravagers who exiled him show up to his funeral gets me a little more

I don’t know where Yellowstone stands around here anymore, and I’m several seasons behind, but the cold intro in season one of how Rip joined the Duttons was one of those type of scenes.
