My all-time favorite baseball movie scene -- and it didn't have much to do with the actual baseball part of the movie.....

I Believe

I'm a little rusty now, but I had that speech memorized from almost the time the movie first went to VHS.

And, note the irony of the JFK part given his role as Jim Garrison.

I feel like Little Big League gets severely underrated by alot of people. It's a really great BASEBALL movie.

Any list that doesn't have Field of Dreams in the GWash spot is dismissible as garbage.

I don't underrate it. It's got alot of great behind the scenes strategy.
But, I'm not sure it breaks the Top 4.
Top 10... definitely a candidate, but I can't put it on Rushmore.

My favorite scene in Bull Durham, and there are a ton, is actually right after that. It's when Crash is walking home from Annie's place alone on the street and he grabs what looks like a wrapping paper tube out of the trash and sees his reflection in a store window and immediately takes a swing so he can see his reflection. That was so perfect to me. I did that for hours and hours as a kid through high school, though with a bat and my home's sliding glass door in my backyard. When I saw that my reaction was, "Holy shite! Other people DO that?!?"
