Will Ferrell: “IT’S A HELLSPUN MIXTURE OF THE BONES OF FORNICATORS, AND THE SINEW OF THIEVES THAT GLUTTON AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA”

(pause)

Will Ferrell: “…uh…its a Fender.”

How bout when Ferrell and Kattan did that home shopping network type thing with Robert Downey Jr. where they were selling a Shaq plaque, I've been searching for a clip of that everywhere but can't find one.

Anyone know where I can find this skit?

Nowhere. SNL is a bunch of Nazis now about their clips.

its the strike year and they are saying how some teams have their regular players back.

hartman says "miami is playing xxxxxx, who have all their regular players back, while miami if fielding a team of mostly elderly jews. but let me tell you never bet against don shula at home in the orange bowl!"

dana carvey plays george plimpton, who had retired after being a replacement player the week before and setting the single game passing record. they announce to him that that day, Gary Hogeboom had broken the record. The political ads that featured Ben Stiller running for mayor.

I believe his top priority was blowing up the bat cave.

Joe Piscopo and Eddie Murphey as Frank Sinatra and Stevie Wonder

"You are black and I am white
You are blind as a bat
And I have sight

Side by side, you are my amigo, negro
Let's not fight"

Here are some of the songs that the devil also sings...I'm copying and pasting (hope they come out ok)
There’s a guy named Fred and he’s got a pair of slacks.
Oooh Fred’s got slacks!
They fit down the sides and tight around the waist!
Ooh Fred’s got slacks.."

"Mondays!
Boy I hate Mondays!
They make me so steamed!
Weekends!
Talkin’ bout the Weekend!
Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh , Oh, Oh.."

"Zorgas borgas, I just got bit by the love bat, and its driving me MAD!!"

Fast car! On the highway!
On the byway! Mr. Robotron!"

Hey you, you’re a nice guy
Put your shoes on, hey you!"

"Uh! I’m the devil, and I’m here to say,
I’m the most evil rapper in the U.S.A.
All my homies and my bitches say ‘Ohhhh’"

"Take her easy…She’s my lady and that’s what I said.."

"Oh, the devil never could write a love song.
Didn’t seem to matter how much he tried.
And 'cause the devil never got his heart broke
and the devil never cried."

[ he keeps singing as the camera fades to black ]

As great as the devil skit was, this thread proves that skit was not underrated. In fact its one of the most popular of the past generation

I disagree with that. It is not one of the more well known SNL skits of the Ferrell era

I wish I could find the skit from an early 80s show when Ron Howard guest hosted. He played Opie coming back to Mayberry that "went bad".

Eddie Murphy as Floyd the Barber running his barbershop and sex emporium.

Joe Piscopo as Otis.

I forget who played Barney and Gomer. But at the end of the skit, Opie tells Gomer, "You better get back in the closet or leave town".

It was very funny.

On the same show, Harry Anderson did his "geek trick" (sticking a needle through his arm) and had one of my favorite lines. When a woman scramed he said, "Lady, it's a trick -- if you put kittens in the oven, you wouldn't call them biscuits, would you?"
