Most hated LOST character?

Without question for me it is Michael.
The other characters can be annoying, but no one even comes close to making me despise them as much as he did. It started when he found Locke teaching Walt to throw the knife and just kept escalating. I never felt sorry for anything bad that happened to him.
People hating on Kate and Jack (warranted IMO), made me wonder who everybody's most hated character was.

Michael. Which ticks me off, because I loved that actor as Gus on Oz. I wanted to like him, but he just sucked so much.

He's really the only one I've never liked. I've always liked Jack and still think he's going to wind up being the eventual "star" of the show somehow. Always liked Kate, too. I'm indifferent to Claire. Didn't like Shannon, but she wasn't on long enough to really matter.

For current characters, I really do hate Jack.

at least michael had a redeeming factor that he loved his son...
They made Ana Lucia such a bitch in season 2 that by the time they started to make her a good character she was too far gone and hated.

Real Locke. Not Flocke. That dude was always talking about destiny and pushing buttons and shite. It was annoying.
