"If this guy is real and not an alter then Jesus Christ...."

Gotta be an alter. Very few posts for how involved he gets into the inside jokes. Somebody else has that retarded looking picture as their avatar or sig pic. Maybe just to make fun of him though.

No Country for Old Men

I understand what was trying to be done, but I was supremely disappointed.

Good movie nonetheless.

This is going a long ways back, but my most disappointing ending -- especially disappointing because I love the rest of the movie -- is in the classic western Red River.

In the original script, John Wayne is shot and fatally wounded by John Ireland. Wayne says he wants to die back in Texas (Sound familiar? This ending would inspire Larry McMurtry when he wrote Lonesome Dove), so Montgomery Clift agrees to take him and Wayne dies as they're crossing the Red River. Clift buries Wayne in his beloved Texas.

This ending was changed so Wayne's character wouldn't die. It was replaced by a silly fistfight that settles nothing and a preposterously stupid finish with Wayne and Clift -- who had just been trying to kill each other -- laughing and grinning like idiots.

ai. if the movie ended 30 minutes earlier, i would have enjoyed it.

I am so glad you said this. I think if AI had ended with Haley Joel at the bottom of the ocean, it would have been one of the greatest films of the last decade. Instead, they Speilberged it up.

And Signs is a very good choice. I'm one of the few M Knight fans on here--I even liked The Happening. But the ending to Signs was absurd.

Face Off

The most overdone, ridiculous fight scene in the history of movies.

Pay It Forward

I was really pissed I spent a couple hours watching that after it ended.

No Country For Old Men

I agree with everyone. I was really enjoying it until it ended. Still a good movie.

Wasn't it a Curious George book with a white feather stuck in the pages like a bookmark? Or was it a glowing white light?

The director just wanted us to use our imagination I suppose. They attempted to wrap it up by having Sam say it was really about catching Seamus all along. Hey, for his troubles, at least Sam got to hit Deirdre.

I don't know if anyone has seen the horror film High Tension, but it was great until the "twist ending," which made the entire movie unbelievable. Had the movie ended about 15 minutes earlier, it would have been great.

Signs was so bad that I refuse to watch another piece of crap that Shymalan puts into theatres. Which is really a pity because I liked Sixth Sense and Unbreakable.

Outbreak.

What a crock of shite. I knew when the little kid didn't eat the cookie at the beginning it would be shite.

The movie tells you that the virus liquefies the insides of the people yet at the end everyone is fine and dandy and the super fire bomb does no damagfe to anything.

What a Disney pile of shite.

My friend always quote me on this film. As we exited the cinema I said, Two thumbs down with a dick in the directors mouth.

There was some movie that just ended and everyone at my house was like, "WTF just happened?" It was so shitty though that I blocked it from my memory.
