Sony is an absolute train wreck. Even Venom was mediocre at best, it’d rank near the bottom of the MCU. They haven’t made an actually great live action SM universe movie since Tobey’s SM2. In 2004.

This will force them to sell their soul to Disney hopefully like Fox did.

I doubt it'll be this low. Tix sales for tonight will be 5 - 5.5 mil

The audience score is currently at 70%…did marvel pay these critics to trash this movie?

It was entertaining enough. It wasn’t mind blowing, but had cool action sequences. I wanted a horror movie, tbh. Had they gone that route, it could have been special. And when I say horror movie, I mean legit horror movie. One with subtext that speaks to something much bigger. Think Jordan Peele horror movies, which are the truest homage to the genre I’ve seen in a very long time.

It’s a meh movie. Go see it and it will entertain you. Don’t go see it, and you didn’t miss much.

This sums it up pretty good. At least it's not as bad as Matrix Resurrection.

Ok, that movie is incredible.. ly awful!

My eyes literally hurt watching the cgi and choppy editing.

After credit scene makes no sense at all

Amy Pascal needs to be stopped

It was meh and not that entertaining. Was a slog with neither humor nor horror. I’ve seen worse though. I put it on the level of Black Panther and Eternals.

Most critics aren't trashing it; there are just so few that like it. The general critical consensus is that's its a 5/10 or C-. But those all count as binary negatives to RT.

Wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I have been more disappointed in other films before.

While I didn’t think BP was transcendent, it was light years better than Eternals. Definitely should never be included in a comparison with Eternals. Iron Man 3 and Eternals are more in line with each other.

At this point, Jared Leto just needs to go back to 30 Seconds to Mars full time.

Black Panther was a good movie with an absolutely shite CG fight at the end.

Eternals was a boring mess.

I think Iron Man 3 is between the two.

All 3 firmly in the bottom half of MCU movies but to me Eternals is clearly the worst so far.

Iron Man 3 was very meh too. However you want to rank them, Morbius in their company in the bottom tier of MCU movies.

Eternals at least had some cool factor with the Celestials. I like the cosmic type stuff.
