It’s very Ryan Murphy. I had to start researching the Lizzie Borden history after the first episode. Evidently there’s a book that was written that sort of pushes a lot of the theories that Murphy incorporates into this version.

Just finished. I actually enjoyed it and thought the juxtaposition with Aileen Wuornos was well done. I always hated on Sarah Paulson in AHS but she absolutely CRUSHES as Wuornos. I never saw Monster, curious to know how she stacks up with Theron’s performance.
