Watching this movie for the first time. I like it overall and think most of the actors and actresses are good but Michael B. Jordan is just bad.

Thanks for coming to my TED Talk

I thought he was over acting a bit too.

He was great as Wallace in The Wire, though.

I remember people acting like he was the GOAT actor in any Marvel movie for like .2 seconds when this movie came out. I never understood it. He’s not bad but wasn’t earth shattering.

I like everything about this movie except his acting. Not trying to say I don’t like it because it’s very entertaining, just think Michael B. Jordan kinda stunk it up

Michale b Jordan's not a good actor, but he's kind of a star. The killer for me was watching him try to play a real, difficult character in Farenheight 451...he was atrocious. He was blown off the screen by the other actors.

I mean, let’s be real. The guy is a hunk and a half. Real piece of eye candy. Great actor he is not.

I think he's great; I think the role is underwritten. I will never understand the praise of his character, but I really enjoy him in the movie.

Some critics had him beating Thanos' arse. Not looking up links but it's out there and ridiculous

It was a really well-written character. I think he made the choice to read his lines and play it a certain way to accentuate the "out of place" vibe of his character. I thought it kinda worked sometimes and sometimes it was kinda distracting.

People try and say Michael B overacted, but don't even mention Andy Serkis giving a Honey Baked Ham Store level performance.

I got the impression that his character was supposed to come off that way. I thought Michael B. ruined what could’ve been a cool character

I thought the story for the character prior to the movie and his actions during the movie were great. It was one of those real “should I be rooting for him” decisions.

But I thought they portrayed the character a little to far in one stereotypical direcrion. It was like watching a character from the South in a movie or tv show that’s just way to Cajun.

Like I thought the “he lives” scene towards the end when T’Challa takes down the plane was excellent, but when Killmonger hits him with the “what’s up?” I kind of cringe.

Michael B Jordan is a pretty good actor, but he did not fit this role at all. He played up the urban stereotype way too much. It was cringeworthy.

Was about to post this as well. He’s good in certain roles, but 451 was a horrible miscasting. The rest of the actors were great, but he was so out of place.
