The Continental

Hm. I'm not the biggest Gibson fan. Should be interesting.

good for him, to hell with the Sanhedrin. But I wish he would direct more.

Should make an epic gritty western on scale of Braveheart or the patriot

I hear The Continental and think Christopher Walken, not Mel Gibson.

I don't know what you're talking about. I love Ghost Busters 2016

Still waiting patiently for Gibson's promise to follow up 'The Passion' with Jesus Christ's return (or I can just wait for the real thing any day now.)

Apocolypto was awesome.

Agreed. He should adapt Blood Meridian. He’s one of the few that could actually do it right. Would be a masterpiece.

And Apocalypto is criminally underrated. I know it came out at a bad time for him, but that’s extraordinary filmmaking.

Also directed Hacksaw Ridge, which I thought was a fantastic movie

I'm a Mel Gibson fan. I like a ton of movies he's starred in and directed. Hacksaw Ridge his lil comeback to directing was fantastic.

I think he would be great in this.

That sounds like something I'd like.

I recently dropped Starz when I started HBO Max. May have to get it back for a month after all three episodes have dropped. I usually enjoy movies set in the 70's because I was a teenager then. I can be critical of what doesn't feel right in them. Loved the hotel setup in the Wick films.

I like most of Mel's movies as an actor. Love Apocalypto and Hacksaw Ridge too.

The TRUE Continental.

Gibson is just a poser.

Payback is one of those, “If it’s on, I’m watching it.” Movies for me.

I can see this new project being in that same style and just as watchable.

I pretend that Get the Gringo is a sequel to Payback. Works better than you would expect.

Same here. I also feel that way about Apocalypto. Both have kept me up late on work nights.
