Anyone else watching on AMC? It’s been decent so far but doesn’t seem to follow the books as closely as I remember.

I'll give it a watch here soon. Alexandra Daddario is my girl with those gorgeous blue eyes of hers.

The last episode had me when she walks around downtown after the bldg. went up in smoke. The show is alright, acting is meh. I think I'm sticking with it because Alexandra Daddario is fire and want to see her go ham.

Enjoying it so far. Also liked Interview With a Vampire.

Alexandria Daddario is unbelievably easy on the eyes. The plot is but a minor detail.

I am a big Anne Rice fan, so I am watching.
You are correct and observing that it is diverting very significantly from the novels. I am particularly disappointed that Michael is not a character.
Nonetheless, I am enjoying it for what it is… especially because it has Alexandra Daddario.
I also enjoyed the recent Interview series, despite the differences from the novels.
As an aside, does anyone else sometimes get confused between two of the most gorgeous actresses of that age… Alexandra Daddario and Alexa Davalos?

That's not even debatable.

Their names are similar and they have a generally similar look (dark hair, light eyes, even a similar build absent the breasts), so I sometimes confuse them when no pictures are available, though I personally find Daddario to be more attractive.

I have watched the first two episodes.
Mostly watching for the filming locations, episode one had the Fuel Dock out by the lake in it, we go there often so it was interesting to see it all painted etc

Wife read the books. We are watching it and she says it is Mayfair Witches in name only. So much is different except for a few character names including the time period it takes place.

She rides a dude in the first episode and keeps her shirt on. Despite the fact, the show is about witches and the supernatural that was the most unbelievable thing in the show. What guy in the world is going to let her ride him with those puppies kept in the dog house?
I am only through 2 episodes but I like it.

I have it recorded but haven't started it yet. Curious if its any good.

Of course you wouldn't. In no known iteration of the universe or multiversal counterpart would Alexa Davalos be considered in the same league of attractiveness as Alexandra Daddario. End of story.
And that comes from someone who was a MASSIVE Man in the High Castle fan, particularly Juliana Crain's character.

I've been watching with the gal. It's ok I suppose.

Daddario has beautiful eyes and an amazing rack. Her face is more "cute" than beautiful, though extraordinarily so.
Davalos has more severe features, but has indisputable "classical beauty" and better bone structure.
Insisting that one is inherently superior to the other just demonstrates that you do not grasp the difference between "personal preference" and "objective analysis."
Have a nice evening, my friend.

Daddario is a classic beauty. Absolutely gorgeous to gaze upon. Grace Kelly is another who wore her beauty just as gracefully.

Aren't you the guy always decrying rude, bathroom banter and calling for elevated discourse?
And in 2023, you describe an intelligent, successful woman's breasts as a "RACK"?
What a fking Neanderthal.....
