I love that Ti West has had his post-X renaissance, but he needs to get onto more creative stuff and leave Pearl behind.
It was kind of cool that they secretly made Pearl while filming X, but it's run its course.

Looks interesting, if only to see if they got the '80s aesthetic right. A lot of movies have tried but usually fail. I suppose I should watch the other movies first.

I liked X and really enjoyed Pearl. I'm sure I'll watch this one, but I agree that it's time to move on.

Yeah I thought X was better than Pearl. I’m just waiting for Goth to actually join the industry at this point.

At first I thought it had a little bit of a Summer of Sam feel with all of the serial killer stuff, but it looks like it could be more like Star 80, or even Wonderland. I know she wants to be famous, but, if she's lucky, she may end up like Dirk Diggler.
