But hey. He's the "angry old white male" that they hate so much. That's why they ruined and killed him. Hamill is obviously the IRL embodiment of toxic masculinity and is lashing out because his rich old white man world is changing.

The immediate reaction for TFA and R1 were mostly positive, until people started to actually think about what they saw. This one is a shite fest right out of the gate. Some morons (and strangely, some who like it just to be "above it all") have slapped their flippers together and barked out praise for it, but most replies of any substance are extremely negative.

That shot is from the premiere. According to several sources, Hamill didn't know Luke had been killed as they'd done it in post-production. The footage is of him, right after having seen it.
