I mean this movie is so predictable and all we know is "Female" and "Pirates"
"All-Female characters are so bad arse because women. They are sexy but not too sexy because Disney. They encounter and demolish patriarchal white pirates who steal and rape, things pirates would never do"

I agree. I actually think her attractiveness hurts her here, much like it did(and still somewhat does) Charlize Theron. They are both so stunningly hot that it’s hard for audiences to not be constantly aware of it and let them dissolve into a character.
This is a good move for her imo. It will increase her profile and make her so much money that she will be able to take on other artsy projects that let her really act. I do agree that she needs to leverage her attractiveness while she can, and I think she is. She wouldn’t have signed this POtC deal without looking like she does. And I doubt she’ll be bundled up showing no skin whatsoever and made to look like Eileen Wuornos. She’ll be plenty hot enough.

lol i don't understand why everyone is all butt hurt over just the thought of a female led PotC world movie.
i'll check it out, i love all of those movies, even the worse spinoff sequels

I don't know who's picking all her roles but she has earned the right to be a little more selective
