Another good episode. Aside from the daughter's pointless love stories, I'm really enjoying everything else. And next weeks episode looks crazy

Yeh, HBO (and most all recently) have side plot love stories, often of the untraditional persuasion that imo more than not serve no real purpose. . Who knows maybe it'll play a part and the bmw driving girlfriend will turn out to be the bad *guy.

From time immemorial, the point of HBO love stories is to get T&A into the show no matter how much it may clash with the tone of the show.

That was a combined preview of the last 3 episodes.

But damn, they’ve really nailed the cliffhangers with this show.

HBO definitely has a habit of putting love stuff and little subplots in a series and forgetting about it but I hope they're not wasting time with it here

Siobans new romance and Mare's bubbling love triangle were useless focuses to another good episode.

What I now believe.

Katie's adductor and Erin's killer are not the same person. I don't want to spoil the episode for those who have not watched it. Ill go more indebt on why I believe this, after more have watched the episode.

There's only 5 episodes, right? It's going to be interesting how they wrap this all up at the end.

i streamed it last night on HBO Max app, and there was a voice over narrarating all the actions...

Mare lays on side of the bed, gets up to the door, etc...

Did i hit some setting i didn't know about or did anyone else run into this? Annoying AF

YEah i don’t think the murder and two abductions are related. I do think we have already met both the killer and abductor.

I’m thinking about the work van used to abduct. Do we know what any men do for a living other than the cops, priests and teacher?

Btw - screw that addict. Feel bad for everyone having to deal with him.

One scenario could make them related.

If it’s someone in erins family. They didn’t recognize her on the site since she changed her appearance so when they met it freaked the perp out.

Anyone make out who Mare was slugging at the end if the preview mash up?

Yeah there's no way I wouldn't have reported him to the police after that. He should be under the jail.

So now that everyone has had the chance to catch up.
I think John, Lori's husband, and Billy his cousin are the abductor's. Ryan, Lori and John's son, is the peeping tom and this is what Lori is admitting to just realizing in the previews to Mare. Jess and Dylan are somehow involved in Erins murder, up to the point of being involve in everything but actually killing her, which is were Deacon Mark comes in. I think maybe he is sleeping with Jess and Erin desperate for they money for the ear surgery tried to extort him for the money ie the last phone call she made to him. Mark calls Jess, she tells Dylan he is not the father the 3 of them conspire to get rid of her.

Well how crazy am I lol.

I might be the only one who noticed this but its JARRING to me...

Its happened at least twice. Both times in scenes at Mare's house, the 2nd of which was the scene with Gran and the ice cream.

The music score just pops into this light-hearted, borderline PG family comedy style music. Its so out of place i literally said "what the frick" the first time i heard it. its one of the worst matching tonal music choices ive ever heard in a show.

It seems nitpicky but its so bizarre to me lol. Especially with the Fincher style color-grading.

Speaking of ; best line of the whole series:
" I'm sorry I'm not maimed enough for you "
Damn near rolled of the couch laughing so hard at than one!
The interaction between her and Mare is awesome.
