Batman Begins was better than TDKR. TDKR really should have been two movies: The Dark Knight Falls and then The Dark Knight Rises. First movie should have ended right as he escaped the pit.

It was pretty fricking awesome after the credits when it showed him flying way above Gotham City, then they panned to his face and he smirked and was gone

I agree BB was the best of the trilogy IMO

Really disagree with most of the critics, but it's mostly because I disagree with what they are criticizing about the movie.

In short, they seem to be hung up, in one way or another, in it not being like the Reeve/Donner movies from 1978/1980. It's not joyful enough, not enough romance, no theme song, too serious, etc.

If you liked the trailer, and you go in expecting a more serious take on the story that take a different approach and describing his childhood...I think you're in for a treat. If you somehow long for the 1978 flick, save your money and go watch it on HBO this month.

I really enjoyed this movie...

This will be the best post in this thread.

I find The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises to be better than Batman Begins. That's not saying anything bad about Batman Begins. I freaking LOVED that movie when it came out. I just like its sequels a little bit more.

It's not really a problem with the film really, just my own personal nit pick, but I don't like that they made him 33. He doesn't look that old. 25? Sure. 33? No.

Really really liked it.

Only complaints was in editing for some of the dream/mind sequences.

I suspect they peaked in the trilogy in this one.

Not sure how any opponent going forward won't be a massive downgrade to the threat posed here.

Especially considering how much he personally lost here.

Rotten Tomatoes gave Avatar an 83%. Therefore, Rotten Tomatoes lacks credibility.

Brainiac
Doomsday (probably the last movie)
Lex Luthor
Also, Supes always has issues with magic/supernatural.

I didn't say they couldnt pull out any villains.

I said their portrayal and threat would be demimished compared to a bunch of kryptonian soldiers.

Especially on a film medium.

Doomsday is the one exception

I saw it, and I hated it. Can't put my finger on exactly why though. Never read the comics though
