Kids are 15, 14, and 12. I am giving them a tour of my movie history when I was their age. So far during this Pandemic I've made them sit through:

Ferris Buhler's Day Off
Glory
Jaws
Star Wars 4, 5, and 6
Princess Bride
Terminator
Karate Kid
ET
Back to the Future

What am I leaving out?

Willow
Batteries Not Included
Big
Goonies
Ghostbusters
Top Gun
Bettlejuice
Field of Dreams
Lean on Me
Die Hard
Funny Farm
Caddyshack

if they can watch Terminator I assume they can watch Predator as well

Not even close to an 80s film. Even part 2 was made in like 78.

And btw, why can't Netflix or Amazon reinvigorate this genre? It's not like they were huge budget films. Most were a bunch of kid actors making nothing and had only like 2 or 3 effects shots

Risky Business might not be the one you want them to draw lessons from but they’ll probably enjoy it.
