We need to let all of these franchises die. I don’t need another Terminator movie. I don’t need another Predator movie. I don’t need another Alien movie. I don’t need another Rambo movie. I don’t need another Rocky movie. I don’t need another Star Wars movie.

Let’s move on with our lives

You may not “need” it, but other people would like to see these franchises continue, the problem is the quality. The recent Predator movie was alright. The last Alien movie was poo. I barely remember the last Rambo movie and haven’t checked out the trailer for Last Blood. The Creed movies have been good. The first two Star Wars under Disney were good and then Katherine Kennedy shite all over them.

There will always be a desire for quality movies of all genres. Franchises can be great in the right hands - Toy Story, John Wick, the new Planet of the Apes series - but when they aren’t, you get ups and downs (Jurassic Park franchise) or they just lose their way (Terminator, Star Wars).
