What was that about?

Chain smoking cigarettes, drinking booze at every meal and in the office, and snorting cocaine to "sober" up will do that to you.

She looks 30 at least.

Of course people age at different rates, plus makeup/costuming can easily add age (probably easier to add age than to reduce with just those, especially for gals), but think of how long it took for Jon Hamm to age "into" his looks. He never looked 18. He looked 26 when he was 18. When Jason Priestly and Luke Perry (both older than Hamm) were auditioning for 90210, he was doing auditions to play their dads.

Well, we've got to see your top 5 then if it doesn't include Major League.

Absolutely? Experts disagree. I only found 2 polls that have Major League in the top 5. In one it was #4 and the other it was #5.

My 5 personal favorites are:

Bull Durham
Field of Dreams
Fever Pitch
For the Love of the Game
Eight Men Out

And FWIW I've watched Major League many times - including bits and pieces last night and last week. It's definitely a funny movie but doesn't crack my Top 5. To each his own.

Eight Men Out is a fine film. To each his/her/however own.

I feel like The Sandlot is being massively disrespected in this thread. It's the best baseball movie and arguably the best sports movie IMO (I'd also agree with Hoosiers, however).

Also, Major League is awesome.

Well, OG Rocky is the best sports movie (rightfully won the Oscar). I would still argue with you over "team sports" movies, but those choices would be more competitive.

Eight Men Out is excellent. I would add The Natural, Field Of Dreams, Pride Of The Yankees, and 61* (really underrated and Barry Pepper's best role) and the comedy would be The Bad News Bears over Major League. Still a good movie.
