this. So far its been decent. i think they're doing a good job of developing the characters/plot lines. looks like next week things will start heating up.

I like it so far. I think I am a few episodes away from being hooked. I like the way Ace operates. He is always watching everyone else to see how they react.

They have really nailed the inside racing stuff. That may be a turn off to larger audiences, but I like it.

I'm really starting to like this show. I want to see where they take the storyline involving the quartet owning the horse. I have a feeling it's not gonna end well for them.

I also have a sneaking suspicion that Nolte's horse and Hoffman's horse are on a collision course for a big race down the road.

well im really starting to dislike the show, it is boring and it seems every show they try to make some real action packed race with racy music. trying too hard

i don't know what to think about this show yet. lots of small scenes cutting in and out with a ton of characters. there is a learning curve that likely won't be on screen. they're obviously setting up a lot of threads, but none have gone anywhere yet

I am starting to get into the show, mainly because I love horseracing, but I have to frequently rewind the DVR because some of the dialogue is so hard to hear or understand.

Nolte mumbles too much, and the Escalante character's accent takes some getting used to.

I do like the authenticity of the characters at the track and the behind-the-scenes action. For me, the racetrack (including the barn, jockeys, trainers, and owners) has always been a mysterious, secret world that I have always wanted to know more about and this show seems to touch on some of those unseen areas.

This 3rd episode finally started to tie some threads together, and I feel like I'm finally on top of most of the lingo that's getting thrown around.

From what I've read from the critics who've seen the entire season, it sounds like it really hits it's stride in the 2nd half of the season. Thus far I'm enjoying Hoffman and Farina as Ace and the driver as well as the gambler bro's.

Was this last one the third or fourth? If it was the third maybe I need to watch it again because I thought it was kinda slow. Maybe I missed a lot?
