Seems like the 6 must be:
1. Jack
2. Sawyer
3. Hurley
4. Kwon
5. Sayid
6. Lapidus: Didn't Llana call him a "candidate" in the season Finale? Plus, the fact that he is still around makes me believe that he has some important role.
Other possibilities for #6 are Linus, Desmond, and Aaron

I'd find that hard to believe. I know they made a huge deal about how important he was earlier in the show, but I'd think he'd have to be on (or on his way to) the island at this point if he were a candidate. There are only like 7 shows left.

Good call, totally forgot about her saying that he was a candidate when he was knocked out in the canoe..... So he has to be one of the 6 that she knows of.

I still think Sayid is out after killing Dogan... Ben told her that he did and she asked if he was sure. So I think mentally, she has marked him off.

Agree.... Wasn't a bad episode but with only 8 left, I wish they would have run this one earlier in the season.

For once, I was pleasantly surprised with an episode. Usually, I get pumped up for an episode and it meets expectations or slightly underachieves. This episode I was not pumped for due to Jin/Sun, but it turned out pretty badass.
I know it is taboo to mention the name Wallace on these threads, but I think it may still come into play. Wallace is a Scottish name. Jacob said he was bringing someone to the island. Desmond is Scottish, and I don't think we have seen anything concerning his early years. Perhaps he was adopted or changed his own name for some unknown reason. We all think Desmond has some special place in the story, and we are all still trying to figure out who the final candidate may be. If I remember right, MIB crossed out Locke's name. My very unsubtantiated theory is that the final candidate is Wallace, aka Desmond Hume.

After Whidmore's conversation with Jin, I was really concerned that the package was gonna be the Kwon kid instead of Desmond.

how does this equal Wallace???? Turning the dial to 108 would have showed his life in the mirror - doesnt mean it would magically transport him to the island - jacob knew that jack would see what was going on with the mirrors. people make way too much of a to-do about the name wallace

I really can't remember it well at all, but I do remember after hearing him say it I thought in my head, "Well, I guess now we know that the cave isn't MIBs". Can someone help here?
2) Where are yall seeing viewer's ratings? I know that people rated the first 9 episodes, but CE earlier saw where next week's was a 7.2. Where are you seeing these ratings?
