Nope, but I would like to think the Others came back for her.
Maybe she hadn't been buried by the time Ben was judged?

One question I have tonight is where was Richard in all this?
somehow jack and richard will work together they already have worked together.
Also jack will refuse to leave the island so the only way that MIB can leave is if he kills jack

I think we now have been presented with the proposition that people who have gone to the dark side can come back to the light (Star Wars rules). MIB's "claiming" of them is not set in stone.
yep
I did predict way back somewhere that in the end, Sayid would turn on MIB, and probably sacrifice himself in the process
I'd imagine we'll see Shannon's ghost right about then

so MIB can't leave
or maybe MIB will try to get someone else to do it like he did jacob.
BTW i can't remember who saw Jacob's ashes after ilana died

My thoughts:
1. Surprising that Claire and Sayid turned the corner. We can probably assume that Sayid found emotion again and let Desmond go.
2. But MIB appears to have sacrificed a rook and a knight for his Queen. "Locke" saves Jack like Jack has (and will) save him. Jack seemed to already be wavering about which side to take and he'll probably be with MIB now for at least an episode or two. Was all this MIB's plan?
3. Jacob needs to get his arse talking to Hurley again. And I guess Hurley's decision-making role is over.
4. Sawyer apparently got long-conned. Jack will have to save them more than likely.
5. How did a bitch geophysicist become Widmore's muscle? Keamy doesn't have a brother or something?

i don't see how anybody could have a positive reaction to what just happened. i thought it was one of the worst episodes not just of the season, but of the series.

but i also thought happily ever after was subpar and last week's episode was awesome
Wow....couldn't disagree more. I thought Happily Ever After was a great episode, last week was solid but kinda disjointed, and this week's was one of my favorites of the season.
The developments with Sayid and Claire are certainly interesting. I too had written Sayid off, but it seems that he's not a lost cause after all. As for Claire, I'm not buying her being with Sawyer and co. for now. First chance she gets she'll prolly be back at MiB's side.
And Jack continues to impress. No question that he's now fully accepted his role, and he seems to be the one to take over as Jacob's replacement (if that is the route the show takes....who the frick knows). The conversation b/w him and Sawyer on the boat was very well done. And I'm surprised that MiB saved him at the end, as it seems to go against his goals (either leave with all the candidates or kill them). Makes me think that the MiB really wants to leave the Island with all of them.
Like I said above, I thought this episode was pretty awesome. For some reason it kinda felt like a season finale to me. And the only people we missed out on were on-Island Ben, Richard, and Miles, but the writers did an excellent job incorporating all the other characters. Gonna be a tough 2 week wait.

Just throwing this out there, but what evidence do we have, other than MIB's own statements that he needs the candidates to get off the island?
What if what he really needs is the protector of the island (Jacob, now maybe Jack) to let him go?
It would make the entire dialouge in "Man of Science, Man of Faith" and MIB's diatribe about Locke being a sucker awful ironic if Jack ends up letting him go.

Well we got the impression from both Jacob and MIB (and Lllana) that there were a number of potential candidates. And there are 6 left. We assume that bad shite happens if all 6 either die or leave the Island.

Not a big fan of this episode. I'm confused after this episode

really liked the episode
1) I'm fairly confident that Sayid will continue to be the "tragic hero" and end up sacrificing himself for the good of other passengers
2) that tina faye looking bitch needs to fricking die the most hideous lost death of all time

I thought the reason he was trapped is because they buried Locke's body.
It would make sense, seeing as to how Christian's body was moved from the casket (MIB probably stashed it away so it couldn't be buried).
agree. especially the way they are so hard up about burying the dead. "we have to bury him" is said often.

havent read since last night and at this moment i assume we are already off subject...
i am wondering if maybe MIB posed as the Hurley Bird
we were lead to believe that he changed into the boar in Ab Aeterno.
