Was thinking, when Hurley asked the question "why doesn't ben remember saiyeed shooting him...etc"...maybe he does. Remember when Ben went to get Saiyeed so he could kill someone for him, and Saiyeed said no because he doesn't like killing and doesn't do it just to do it, and Ben got this smile on his face, like you know your full of shite, and so do I.

the whole explanation of sayid and been's contact earlier in the show reeked of trying to just cover up plot holes and things that just show they didn't really have this grand plan after all.

I have no clue, wouldn't she be in the same time as Sawyer, Jack, Kate, and the others, but shes not in the Dharma camp...maybe shes in the others camp?

The last we saw her was sitting in Jacobs cabin with Christian.... I would think the rules do not apply to her and she is prob with Christian.

ben knew the entire background of all the survivors thus he knew sayid was a torturer AND he was Ben's torturer when they caught him

I know, but considering the way ben reacted to Saiyeed saying that, and it being an episode before Saiyeed actually shot him, it got me thinking that.

what was the name the other asked Richard if he cleared it with or whatever when he also mentioned Charles? Was it the old lady who told them how to get back to the island?

My thoughts:
1. Hurley looking to see if his hand disappeared ala Back to the Future was Gold. I was rolling on the ground.
2. I can't believe Jack was the only one with a sack to not save that little Hitler. Ironically, had he saved him he would have changed things.
3. I agree completely that it was a weak attempt to fix a plot hole of Ben not remembering Sayid.
4. I still have no idea why Ben didn't die immediately. He got shot straight in the chest. If it was the Island that saved him, then he wouldn't need saving by anyone else. If the Island didn't save him, what did?
Weaker episode imo, but a weak LOST episode is still pretty damn good.
