It's important to maintain balance on the board as in Lost. When people are too happy and ignorant, someone has to be the happiness assassin. That's the way villains are portrayed, like MIB, but it's just tough love that is needed to set things straight.

I can respect that, but I am also cognitive of where the thread is in relation to the most recent episode. I wouldn't carry on and push buttons if it were Tuesday nite or Wednesday. But every week, at some point, the thread always veers into really, really bad speculation at which point, the thread is effectively dead. And then I just like fricking with people - especially the dumb ones

He remembers how great it was to feel love, so I think that even though he no longer has emotions that he knows that it would be great if he could feel love again.

Who do you think is going to be the one? After the look that FLocke gave Jack, I thought he might be the one. I'm worried that FLocke will get in his head though (as with that look he gave Jack), with Christian talk. I'm going to go with Hurley, although I think Desmond has a chance to be the "secret" new Jacob.

Just to clarify, I do think that Desmond will be trying to save the Losties on the island. I don't know that it will make him the next Jacob, though. If MIB is trapped, there would need to be a new Jacob though. I'd like for MIB to be defeated and sunk with the island, like the island sunk in alt time. I'm not sure that will happen though with the writers probably wanting to leave some room for a movie or two.

Haven't read the last few pages, but just thought I'd pop in to say that Stu, is indeed uppity. The uppitiest imho. And I think he doesn't like being called it because he's black. Only explanation for his irrational hatred for our North American brothers south of the border.

MIB supposedly "took over" Locke's body, yet MIB in Locke's body walks by Locke's dead body on the beach. How were there 2 Locke bodies at one time?
