The producers have been pretty adamant in saying that Adam and Eve will prove they've known where they were going in the beginning. Although Bernard is mentioned in the first episode, I seriously doubt 2 throw away characters (harsh but true) will be Adam and Eve because of this.

The producers already gave away who Adam and Eve were, a while back. They could have been pulling our chains though.

But the fact they haven't thrown them away, makes me think it is them. Rose was in the pilot and Bernard is the only Tail section still alive. They haven't killed them and keep coming back from time to time.
If Bernard and Rose aren't A&E they serve no purpose on the show.

I mean I don't care either. But almost every character has served a purpose and has died when they no longer did. Rose and Bernard are the only ones that have showed up every episode (and even gotten a flashback) that appear to have absolutely no purpose...unless they are A&E
