It's on my list of movies I wish I could erase from my memory and watch anew. I've seen it a hundred times and still watch it now and then.

The mountain fight scene at the end was awesome!

I like how Wes Studi is typecasted as a native in many movie (inc. Avatar).

I wish DDL's character would have retained his name from the book: Natty Bumpo!

The music to this scene is just mesmerizing. Absolutely one of my most favorite scenes in any movie ever.

you thought Nine was very very good?

Ok, you got me there. I get a little carried away when it comes to DDL, only because I think he is an incredible actor...probably the best of our generation. Obviously, not ALL of his movies are good, but that can be said of anyone.

I actually thought the movie was average until the end, where it got even worse. I barely enjoyed it enough to consider a worthwhile rent from netflix. I remember the fight scenes being especially bad/amateur. I could see their fist stopping before hitting, and then two feet over a couple actors play fighting so bad it looked like they were pretending and just going through the motions.

What a douche

Decent enough movie made much better by the great score.

naw he's definitely awesome. but yeah, even the best have a bad movie every now and then. i didnt see Nine bc it got horrible reviews, but im sure DDL was still probably pretty good.

go look at Leo's last seven movies. he has a pretty amazing streak of awesome movies going.

Yeah the ending was fricking awful. I hate when a movie gives you chills everytime you watch it.(ending sequence)

Please give us your top 3 movies so we'll know what kind of fricktard shite you like.

Not only was the score great for this movie, but the cinematography was also top notch. The camera angles they used were very very ahead of it's time. They might seem commonplace now, but ahead of it's time, for sure.

I don't go out and say this is DDL's best performance. Far from it. He did his part, but I also believe every other actor did, as well. I think Madeline Stowe may have overdid it at times, but it didn't hurt the product, at all. The guy who played Duncan was awesome.

This.

From a certain perspective, the film is rather average. The performances aren't really that great. The story leaves a lot on the cutting room floor in terms of the book, etc.

With that said, I love it and it probably makes my 90's list.

Indeed. But would you rather them make it more like the Disney version that came out decades earlier? No.

And I agree that some of the acting was rather meh. But nobody dragged it down badly.
