Poster on reddit claims to have been at the show and Aya and Sloans sets were cut.
Wonder why they did that?

From reddit user so take it for what it is
quote:
Sarah Sloan and Aya were cut because their interviews were about Sarah catching on fire in Tony’s house. Must have been a legal issue or something.
I was at the show and their sets were pretty good. They were clearly struggling for regulars that night though. Aya went where Dedrick typically does in the middle of the show, then she was cut so now it’s a weird episode.
quote:
A battery pack in her back pocket exploded. Knowing she’s okay now, it was really funny to hear her story and then Aya’s account of the story a little bit later

Yang’s sets are awful. She’s just a cruel bitch who can think on her feet
Also Dedric seems on borrowed time unless he gets his shite together. There seems something off with him. Self sabotaging behavior.

I wasn't much of a fan to start with & after watching him on StoryWarz I was even less of one
On another note it has been mentioned in the chats and other places that there may have been a laugh track added to this latest episode & I think there was. Did y'all notice it?

I was wondering why the run time was only 1:45. Who are Aya and Sloan? Is Aya the half Pakistani girl from Acadiana?
ETA: Afr, I see you were talking about Sarah Sloan. Still not sure who Aya is.

Yeah that's them. Explains why the show was off.
Of all the crazy shite on the show it's a battery fire in somebody's pocket that's too much. She is Tony's personal assistant though so maybe an injury to an employee at work.

Sloan is the horse girl, she works for Tony now. Aya is Muslim but not the half Pakistani Cajun. Aya also works for the show.

Angel’s interview was funny, just mostly because of how off the rails it was. Pissed the cut Sarah’s set. She seems to always be funny.

Yeah. She’s very likable.
That last bucket pull should have gotten a golden ticket before Dedrick.

Episode was better than I expected based off of this thread. But it was a pretty weak episode.

Dedric sucks. I’m starting to fast forward through people I don’t like
I’m going to see Kill Tony in Dallas on the 28th. I hope it doesn’t suck

All I can say is temper your expectations. I saw Kill tony in a theater less than half the size of the one they are doing in Dallas, and it was pretty disappointing. Drunk assholes everywhere shouting, booing, being annoying. It's basically a pro wrestling event. But, that was 3 years ago. It seems they've at least done a better job with the format of their shows outside the Mothership. Hopefully you get a legends bucket or something like that.
Having been to 4 or 5 shows at the Mothership, I can tell you that it is some of the best comedy shows that I've been too. Just a great time overall. The theater show? Not so much. But, if you go in with the right expectations, you should still have a good time.

Ol Yang a little pit-viper when it comes to attacking the guests.

Yeah I told my wife that. It sucks because the whole tone of the show is based on how bad or good the pulls are. Plus the guests

Credit to the work they've done with camera angles and sound. Watching the stream from mothership makes you feel like you could be in the audince but from the comfort of your couch. Arena specials with the giant stage feel distant.

There was a huge change after the move to Austin...more notably when they started at Vulcan I think. They must have hired somebody who actually knew their shite on A/V. They do a phenomenal job today of capturing the show and making it as close as you can get it to actually being there in the audience.
The shows before Austin were terrible production compared to today.

Wonder how much of that is Redban and simply having the cash available to do it. Credit to Redban though for producing both #1 podcasts in the world. Listened to him tell the story on a podcast a while back. Dude never quit. Now it's finally paid off for him.

I like Redban. He’s a great listen on a pod and he loves Asian women

Is anyone going see Mike Cannon in BR or Lafayette?
