It is possible that the events of the season finale were entirely caused by his meddling. If he just stays away at that point and doesn't rewind the clock, almost every character gets a happy ending and Seven never becomes the White Violin because she finds the book long before its too late, and returns to her family having not harmed anyone yet.
Yeah he deffinitly had a strong hand in creating the apocalypse
Like I mentioned earlier, time travel is always messy and this show certainly dove face first into the mess, but you could argue the main reason he was pulled out by the Handlers was because they knew it was how they made the apocalypse happen and if he chooses to stay then it creates a paradox in a way.
But again time travel like this never holds up to scutiny and basically it’s plot armor that you just have to accept and watch

Yeah, I'm not trying to approach it from a plot armor standpoint but more of an irony standpoint. The Umbrella Academy would have been better off to do nothing, and they are the protagonists. It makes it more tragic.

Klaus deserves an Emmy nod.
That dude is awesome.
If you liked his performance, you should try to find the British show called Misfits that came out a few years back. He plays a similar-but-not-exactly-the-same character and does an outstanding job. Every season of Misfits that Robert Sheehan is involved in is great TV.

The kid playing 5 did a good job, too.
I was surprised to see that the kid was only 14 when they shot this. I just assumed he was one of those 20 year old actors that could pass for a kid.

Yeah, definitely watch the Sheehan seasons of misfits if you like him as Klaus, they are hilarious. The first season without Sheehan is great too.

I think your theory has some merit, but it seems that the entire point of the series is that the apocalypse HAS to happen, and Vanya/Seven has to bring it about - the whole idea the Handler had about bringing Five back to the Commission was to prevent him from preventing his sister from becoming the White Violin and destroying the world, so somehow she would have managed to do so without his interference in the timeline. Remember, when he initially jumped in time to just after the apocalypse he found all of his siblings' bodies EXCEPT for Seven.
Pretty clever, even though it was predictable at times. Looking forward to seeing what they can do in season 2, and what plot device they will use to return the UA kids to their adult forms.
And yes, as good a character (and actor) as Five was, Klaus/Four was even better.

Binged this while I was sick this weekend, really enjoyed it. Hope Netflix invests in some more comic stuff to replace Marvel.
Klaus was bad arse, Ellen Page was totally made for that role

I enjoyed this show but it kept annoying me how sporadic it was. I hope they clean some of that up for season 2.

Netflix pushing the gay to the forefront again. In the comic, Klaus wasn’t gay

You want a complete list of "in the comic, it wasn't..." for this show? Because 95% of what was in this show wasn't in the comic.

Just finished and this was a great show especially for a comic i'd never heard of; really looking forward to season 2.
