Just finished the first episode.

I'm not crazy about it so far. Does it get better? The characters are all annoying.

Trying to decide if it's worth the time investment.

Ellen Page is in it dude .... yeah, it’s probably not going to improve much. When they cast annoying people to play annoying characters and give it an annoying storyline, well, not a recipe for mass appeal or long term success.

I like it a lot

But I don’t understand the people who need to be baby sat after an hour of television on where to keep watching. Grow up Peter Pan and start making decisions for yourself

First episode was awesome. Really looking forward to seeing where this goes.

Robert Sheehan was great in Misfits, and his character in this show looks like more of the same. Not sure how it could fail.

I was getting the feeling that they would premier one character every episode after the first. Like with Haunting of Hill House.

I was hoping someone would tell me to hang in, and it gets great.

I would say it gets pretty good IMO. Have more power/fight sequences that are pretty cool and some decent plot developments. This show has A LOT of dialogue and would be great if they could explain things without a 30 minute conversation. If you are even remotely entertained keep watching. It won't get much better if it is boring you senseless though.

#4 starts off rough but comes around strong after episode 2 or 3. #1 is Billy Bones and plays the rigid leader role well. #2 is a decent anti-hero but has the shittiest power possible. #3 is ok and I wish #6 was in it more. Like #5 the best. Hilarious, smart, and one of the most precise killers of all time. What else could you ask for in a 13 year old? Ellen Page gives her best effort to suppress boners across the world and 100% succeeds. She appears to be slowly transitioning in appearance and presence towards

First 2 are the slowest. Picks up from there. 6-8 were pretty wild. Still haven’t watched the last two

You can probably skip most of Pages scenes. They are the biggest drag on the pacing and she doesn’t really get important until the last few episodes

I watched the entire series Friday/Saturday and started a rewatch on Sunday and I have to give episode 2 a bit more credit. They setup so much stuff in episode 2 it's actually much better the 2nd time around.

I wouldn't suggest this honestly. It helps build her character. I do have to give credit to casting her, Ellen Page is Vanya. I don't think a character and actor has ever been so perfect for each other.

I'm on episode 3.

I want to like it. I like the idea of the show but, idk, something is just missing.

It got needlessly weird or something. As you can see, I can't really explain what my disconnect with the show is. I'll power through, but so far it has been a bit of a chore.

Just finished it today and I really liked the show. Starts a little slow but finished strong. Interesting story that still has allot more to tell IMO.

It can be insanely boring at times but there are some good characters. The story is pretty interesting although approaching on weird beyond my personal taste at times. Overall it’s entertaining for the most part. Not great but definitely worth checking out.

I started watching it with my wife and daughter. I think it's pretty good. We have one episode left, I think. Probably finish it tonight.

If you don't get why people seek the opinions of others then why are you on these boards? You sound like a miserable person desperately seeking attention.

I’m assuming they get into the backstory of Hargreeves and his flash backs in the second season?

There’s a difference between asking if a show is good before hand or discussing the show while your into it or after it, but too many people need constant reassurance about what they are watching on this board. It doesn’t bring any actual discussion to the board. If it doesn’t keep you into it then stop watching. Or keep watching it and form your own opinion.

People do this shite all the time, they’ll watch a half episode of breaking bad and go “UGH THIS shite IS BORING DO I REALLY NEED TO KEEP WATCHING?!! I REALLY DIDNT SEE THE HYPE”. Rome wasn’t built in a day and 99 percent of good shows out there don’t start off their pilots with a home run.

Plus if he wanted actual opinions of the show he could’ve just looked in the non spoiler thread that was still on the first or second page of this board when he created this one

I assume they will. The "Dallas" storyline is fantastic but there is always room for more storylines. They briefly touched on Hargreeves in episode 9(I think) but they left it vague as to what he was.
