Clare! your honeypot! it's bare!

it looks a bit more complicated than when it's thatched over.

My wife and I have stuck with the series from the beginning. It's definitely a Harlequin Romance novel on steroids but it's had some good stuff along with the bad. As other's have posted, I have no use for the rape scenes. They could have told these stories without actually showing the acts being done.

After some real lackluster seasons, this current season 7 has actually gotten off to a good start.

You should always worry about what's going on in a woman's head.

Truth.

Married twice, second one for 14 years. I still barely know how to predict anything she’s going to say or do.

But I don’t think they even know that. They are emotional chaos chained to a rollercoaster. Logic is too scared shitless to even raise a hand.

Have to watch with subtitles because some of the words are confusing

More words

Nighean - endearment for young women. Sort of the same as mija.
Sassenach - derogatory term Scottish used for English people. But Jamie uses it as an endearment with Claire.
Dinna fash - Don't worry

I usually don't like when people say this...but this is definitely a show that started out good, and then kept going just for the money train it became. The storylines in the first couple season were interesting and the tits were a nice bonus. But it has definitely devolved into "where can we fight the hierarchy established in a new land?" each season.

None of that is the point of any of those scenes. While I'm sure this show has fans that haven't read the books, the series does stick pretty closely with the books but leave out a lot.

For those who say the history is missing and nothing is left but the sex, once again...books. The books are really historical novels and not romances.

Jim Cavizel was an absolute beast in this movie. Too bad he got blacklisted for playing Jesus Christ in Passion. Hes a talented actor!

I think I made it 3 episodes.
I was in until it turned into just a basic soap opera.

Season 7 has been really good so far. It's not got anything to do with keeping going for a money train. It's based on a series of 8 books. Book 9 is in the works.

Right...the fact that there's 8-9 books of this continuation, usually means money grab. Look, I still watch it because I'm a completionist. Seasons 1-3 were fantastic, but (as per usual), once the two leads get romantically settled...the storylines devolve into less interesting territory.

Wait, are you denying that women are watching this shite to be titillated by it? You think all these broads are watching it for historical educational purposes?

Sure, sure, yeah, that's it....

You know the show is based on a book series, right?

Almost done with season 1, show is awesome.

Production quality is top notch, almost early GOT level.

Will continue to watch, I look passed the sappy shite, enough fighting and political intrigue and what not for me.

Black Jack Randall played by the guy who played Edmure Tully

Lord William Dunsany played by the guy who played Yohn Royce

Also the guy who was taking Arya and Gendry to the wall had a part in Outlander.
