Loved the show. Couldn't help but be amused during the bed breaking sex scenes thinking that, in essence, this is a Disney show.

Am I the only one that thinks kilgrave looks spitting image to Matt Bellamy from Muse?

So I just binge watched the last 8 episodes tonight, but I'm too tired to post my full review, I'll do that tomorrow. It was awesome though. Can't wait for Daredevil season 2.

So I thought the show was great, but not on Daredevil's level. There were few story lines that I thought were pretty dumb (the weird sibling neighbors and Trinity's lesbian divorce and busty assistant) that held it back from being as good as Daredevil.

Kilgrave was an awesome villain and David Tennant pulled it off perfectly. That scene in the police station was incredible. Krysten Ritter was also cast perfectly. And I loved the hot blonde Australian chick from Transformers. I always said she was hotter than Megan Fox.

I liked all the references to other superheros and the incident in New York from Avengers. I don't remember that from Daredevil. I was really hoping Daredevil would show up in the finale when Rosario Dawson's character appeared. I hope they plan to do some cameos for Daredevil and Jessica Jones. I love the crossover episodes for Arrow and The Flash so I think that'd be pretty cool.

Also I think its funny that they can show bed breaking sex scenes but can't drop f-bombs

For those that know more about the comic, what other villains does Jessica Jones have? Wasn't the comic pretty short lived? I'm wondering what direction they go with season 2.

Based on some things in the show, it wouldn't shock me if Daredevil hated Jessica.

There's 2 twitter tease videos

One has Jessica drinking a shot, then picking up a "Nelson and Murdock" business card.

The other shows Josie's Bar, then shows "Luke's" across the street.

If I had to bet for Netflix Phase 2 is that some combo of Cage/Fist/Jones are Heroes for Hire.

still only on the first half but doing a rewatch with the wife

through most of the series they talk about the time limit on Kilgrave's powers.
However in episode one when Jessica resuces Hope she says he's been gone for 5 hours. By the time the parents get to the office you gotta figure its been a more time passed. whats the actual "time frame" of his powers since id figure its been about 6 hours by the time Hope kills her parents

Not sure they've said it in the series at the point you're at explicitly, but they say it later. 12 hours.

And I think the time limit depends on the willpower of the person he is trying to control, as some seem much more willing than others, etc. I haven't gotten very far so I am not sure that plays much of a role.

Oh. Maybe so. I didn't think there would be a way to know since both films had the same people and a crap load of destruction going on. AoU had the floating city going on, right? Was that NYC or somewhere else?

AoU was in some shite arse Eastern European country.

I actually could see that not getting mentioned very much IRL after a few months. This is America mayne. The 24 hour news cycle would have moved onto something else by then b/c the events of AoU don't directly impact the USofA.

Kind of pissed it took them 13 episodes to realize loud music or ear plugs could tune out Kilgrave's commands

Only downside so far (8 episodes in on my stream and bourbon black Friday palozza) the music, don't really get the chance to meet later NRA about Simpson, kind of like him as the Boz or Lyle Alzado to Cap's Barry Bonds.

Just finished it. Liked it alright. Really enjoy Jessica and trish and their relationship. Don't like the casting of lemond bishop as Luke cage.

Didn't enjoy it as much as daredevil, but enjoyed tennants villain more than d'onofrio's. In all honesty the show just dragged on too long, 8-10 episodes would have been better than 13 IMHO, but I had a pretty good time watching the show. Will tune in to season 2.

Morris Chestnut- that's Luke Cage- goatee, sufficiently jacked, that's who they cast if this is a movie level budget.
