I just finished another rewatch of BB, think it was my 3rd or 4th, along with El Camino... for some reason I disliked Jesse more after this one.

He's weak, feckless, directionless. Those attributes made it easy for Walt to steer him.

For all of WW's flaws, he was incredibly loyal to Jesse even when it wasn't in his best interests. Jesse returned very little of that, at least after Gayle.

I disliked Jesse more towards the later seasons as he became so reckless... throwing the money out the car windows, going back to slinging on the streets, etc

I have watched a few of the BB reaction collections. I always get mad when they blame Walt for everything. Jesse, Hank, Gus, Mike, Skylar, all had their own faults and made horrible decisions as well. Especially Jesse and Hank. I never got why they turn on Walt. He never did anything to either one, but they act like he is the embodiment of evil..

Zero, none. Not one.

Completely unsympathetic and unlikable character.

I liked the idea of a follow up in jessie's story but having it end with him hitting the reset button kinda sucked. He didn't deserve that. Jessie is an unintelligent piece 'a shite.

hmmmm Walt is ok manipulating Jesse into murdeing people, harming children for his own gain, destroying his family to try to make up for past inadequacies and Jesse is the POS?

Jesse at least had a conscience.

I feel like he constantly fought with his consciousness. As much as he wanted to be a drug dealing, street banging hard arse. It truly was not him. Every time he tried to get out Walt would trick/lure him back in. He was losing his mind...

Well yeah. Walt had convinced Jesse that Gus was going to get rid of both of them once Gayle had gotten the full formula down pat. Jesse had never killed anyone to that point and killing Gayle was like killing a puppy.

Wow, you just basically described every character in Breaking Bad, otherwise known as “The most overrated show of the 2000s”

Well you've got a point. Walt did admit he kept doing it because he liked it.

There's iron in your words.

It was a good show but it was indeed overrated. To me, any episode that spent too much time on walt's family was a bore you had to sorta slog through.

It’s like each had their role and action to lead to certain end.

And the good old “Walt is bad because he kills people” line. But when Mike, Gus, or the twins kill people, it’s always “man, they’re bad asses”. So which is it?

And also when people criticize Skyler, you always hear that “Walt cooks meth, kill people and that’s 1000x worse”. One bad deed doesn’t excuse/justify for another bad deed. If my gf cheated on me, it doesn’t give me an excuse to steal from Walgreens.

What makes this topic a troll?

I get confused about what a troll or melt is on this website. Those words are used so often around these parts.

Since that was almost certainly true, that demonstrated Walt's intermittent competence.
