I noticed that on the buzzer as well. He seem dumbfounded that the woman was buzzing in so fast. In his defense, I think he got screwed on that one question. It sounded right to me.
The Macbeth answer was weird as hell. I think the guy was trying to be funny, but he is such an uber nerd that his sense of humor is really odd.
I liked that he played with a different strategy. It was cool to watch.

I was sad to see Arthur go
I love Jeopardy, but he made it even more exciting to watch. I agree that it looked like his buzzer wasn't ringing in. That girl got lucky, because the yesterday she got smoked on the show.
Chu would have dominated yesterday

It was a strange week for Arthur. Each night it seemed like he was having buzzer and pronunciation issues.

It's hard as frick to find clips of this dude. I was looking for the clip of the "Gerry" mispronunciation as well as "McDormand" and whatever the MacBeth thing was.

He did an AMA on reddit after his first four victories. He mentioned he was involved in community theatre. Tradition is it's bad luck for an actor to say "Macbeth" because it's cursed. I'm guessing that's why he went on that little tangent - awkward as it were.
