I would agree if she didn't have the chest of a 12 year old boy.

Haven't seen the movie probably since the theaters. I recall it being heavily promoted as a comedy, which it does do for like the first 1/3 or half, then I remember it being a brutal watch for the back half.

Downvote away but I have never found her attractive at all. Nice body and nice hair, or great personal trainer and great hair stylist, but her face and voice are like The Marlboro Man

This movie came out when my first wife and I were going through a divorce. I was against the split and wanted to stay true to my vows and work it out.

Her mind was made up. It was a very sad and stressful time. The plan was for me to keep the house and her to move into an apartment close to her office. But she kept dragging her feet. Things were super tense.

So she suggested we go see a movie, a comedy to lighten the mood. She picked The Break Up.

So I sat there in the dark theater watching this shite unfold, next to the woman who was leaving me and ripping my world to pieces. I was furious. I should have walked out. But I didn't. When it was over she asked me if I liked the movie and I said "that was salt in an open wound."

frick that movie.

Yep, it was a slow motion car crash for 45 minutes. I felt like I was watching my parents fighting. You could feel the mood shift in the theater. If that's what the director was going for they nailed that part.

I don't think I'd want to go see a movie with the woman who was leaving me. But I guess I could understand, maybe you were hoping it was an opening to change the course of her direction.

It wasn't the movie's fault. It sounds like your bitch ex-wife intentionally took you to that movie to kick you in the balls. I would hope after that there would have been no more "graceful" attempt to amicably spilt and that was a "gloves off" moment.

I honestly don't think she picked the movie to intentionally kick me in the balls. She was never cruel or spiteful. And she's never been very aware of current events like movies and TV shows. She's a workaholic with no real contact with the outside world.

But yeah, it was very soon after when I insisted she move out. It was time to rip the bandaid off and power through the pain.

I don't know her personally, but there are rumors about being frigid.

I wouldn’t kick her out of bed, but she’s never really done it for me. I heard she smokes two packs a day which is evident by her smokers skin and imagine her breath wreaks.

Like the movie although it got a bit dark towards the end. The dinner scene with the time rangers was hilarious.
