The ones I actually talked with (all were very nice):
Ate dinner with Condoleezza Rice and Al Gore. Talked to both for about an hour in 2005.
Had lunch at Barry Sanders house in 1999 with my son before he retired.
Met Arnold Schwarzenegger when I was on Wheel of Fortune in 2000.

Elizabeth Banks, Jennifer Love Hewwit, Charlie Day all very nice.
Paul Walker seemed like a real genuinely great guy.
Lou Diamond Phillips was really easy to shoot the shite with.
Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren (separate occasions) were both pretty arrogant but Dolph was nicer.
US Senator Chuck Schumer was a total prick.
Coolest story: Dolph Lundgren and his table were the last to leave the restaurant I work at that night. We were standing near the exit waiting to thank them and tell them good night. When Dolph walks by I put my fists up and do a little bob and weave. He smiled and nudged my chin with his fist.

It's funny I saw this post today because my employees were talking about people we've seen/met.
Next day (today), Eddie George walks in.
Pretty cool dude.
I actually played a pickup game of basketball against him when I lived in Valdosta. I'm pretty sure he was always high when he came in.
I met Kirk Herbstreit once when I worked for a bowling alley, when he was with all his kids. Super nice; and he signed a couple bowling pins for us. Our boss was a huge Michigan fan so we made sure he saw them.
My current boss ran into Dave Chappelle once; said he's the coolest dude ever.

Woody Harrelson- awesome when he's stoned and hitting on Asian chicks.

My brother was at a Avett Brothers, a private showing in Los Angelo's that his buddy got him into. My brothers favorite band is the Avett Brothers and his buddy that took him is Bright Eyes. So they just get there and about ten minutes later Bill Murray comes to the table next to them. So my brother buys him a drink and Murray comes over and chills with them joking around and crap. Kelly Osbourne walks up to say hey to Bill and chills for a bit and then Conor Oburst (lead singer of Bright Eyes comes over to the table. My brother said his buddy jason almost passed out. So he bought him and drink to and they hung out for a while, all of them getting toasted. My brother puts his arm around Oburst and says "dude this probably sounds weird but my buddy would seriously suck your cock right now." he said Oburst was
Avett Brothers called him up on stage and they did some songs together. I would have killed to have been at that concert.
Anywho, I got expelled in high school for two weeks for dry humping the assistant principle at a football game. I didn't meet a celebrity but that was fun

I don't know what the OP means by "met?" People in the thread seem to think they know if a guy is a good guy or a dick based on getting a picture of them. To me, if that is the gauge, how could you know if the dude is cool or not? If he's having a shitty day and some strange guy comes up and wants to talk to you about random shite, maybe he just doesn't want to talk to the random strange/strange dude that day?
For me, I've seen some famous people throughout my life but never taken it upon myself to talk to anyone. I don't like to feel like I'm bothering anyone and unless we're in a situation that would result in talking to an average person, I'm not going out of my way to make a big deal out of some celebrity.
Sat next to Dan Patrick at Absinthe House before the NC game this year but never said anything to him because he was with two other guys, I was with friends, and I wasn't going to be "that" guy.
The only actor I've ever talked to is Jerry Orbach (Law and Order, at that time, before they had like ten Law and Orders) like ten/twelve years ago. I was at Atlantis in the Bahamas and I was gambling at one of the tables. The table was full and there was a pretty good amount of people behind us. When I turned to leave the table he was the guy taking my spot at the table. I was such a dumbass and a little drunk so I just told him I hoped the seat was more successful for him and that I liked his show. He said thanks and I walked away.
So cool story bro.

Yeah I've ran into one or two. They do not have a story to go along with it though. So I didn't tell my "I was a row behind Karl Malone at a Tech football game and he was the best" story.

Very cool:
Bruce Willis
Robin Williams
Mick Foley
John Travolta
Arnold Schwarzenegger
Magic Johnson
Michael Jackson
Not mean but not nice either:
Mariah Carey (however her bodyguards are dicks, not to me but other people)
Demi Moore
I met all these people when I worked at Disney.

Met and had dinner in a group with Harlan Ellison when I was in college. He was a trip, and he gave a great talk.

Have to bump this after an eventful weekend. Met Walton Goggins and Jimmy Graham. Both were great guys, especially Walton considering I came off as a blabbering idiot
