This is not some marvel blockbuster
All these series are going to be distinct in their own right to explore these characters more in depth
The multiverse of madness is not going to be anything like what marvel has done before
I’m not basing this show off these two episodes
I’ll reserve judgment till the end

I think we need to give this show a bit to flesh out the story

I agree though
So far this is not something kids will like or understand
It seems to me Disney plus would want to at least have some kind of kid audience for this and some of these shows going forward

Is this the thing I keep seeing commercials for with what looks like a cliche 50's housewife dancing around with a robot man in a suit? It's been confusing tf out of me as too what it could possibly be.

Good grief, we have some D+ MCU die hards on this forum, huh? I didn't even say 1 damn disparaging thing , admitted I've not seen it yet, and yet still 3 down votes ?
What a bunch of little divas.

Jesus Christ. Worst show ever? Who is saying this? The acting alone makes it not even eligible for this category.
It’s def more niche than blockbuster marvel but it’s not even close to be “the worst.” It’s not great yet, but I like the risk they are taking with it. It really reminds me of maniac which was almost universally praised yet has a similar slow start.
Some people just want Michael Bay storytelling and it’s not that. Some posters put it up against mandalorian. Go back and look at the s1 reviews for that show. Fans panned it for how slow it started as well. Impatient fans suck.

I can see how people wouldn’t like it, but I enjoy the mystery behind it and trying to connect the dots, plus I enjoyed these characters we all know acting differently.

How can some of y’all not grasp that these episodes will make sense with later episodes?
I honestly didn't expect the show to actually be like an I love lucy episode with crowd laugh tracks

I haven't seen the second episode yet, but the first episode was fantastic.

I think it's pretty obvious what's going to happen. Wanda and Vision will live their lives as if they were living in a tv show of certain era with little weird shite happening and more frequently as the show goes on. Waiting for the inevitable shite storm that will come near the end

Apparently nothing happens.
It's two episodes of how many? It's basically goofy fish out of water sitcom tropes at the moment but there were a few things to hint at later action/intrigue.
It was slow but somewhat entertaining. I certainly like what I've seen better than my impressions from the portion of WW84 that I managed to get through.
I'm willing to give it another few episodes to do something.

The show is... different. It's clearly surreal, like Wanda is stuck in an acid trip.
Sitcoms from the period they referenced- everything is ideal, just a perfect, wholesome, normal life. In contrast, we KNOW Wanda came from a war-torn Eastern European country, and has lost her parents, brother, and now her lover (as of Endgame). Remember, Vision is gone.
And shite keeps creeping in that goes against the narrative she's trying to live.

All I’ve heard is how good it is. Haven’t watched it yet though.

Basically the only people I've seen complaining about it have largely decided to dig their heads into the sand about what the show is trying to do
These first two episodes arent going to be the show and even then, I think they have been more than fine odes and salutes to bygone eras of television

I wanted to turn it on about 7 minutes into episodes one. I get what they were going for, but I still hated it.

If you go in expecting action, then yes, you'll be disappointed

I really had very little interest in the two main characters before this show started but I think that it is off to an excellent start.
