It's one of my favorite shows. The writing and camera work is masterful. I was never a big car nut until I started watching that show. It makes it fun for people who don't know much about cars to learn about them. I think one of the main things that makes it so successful is the chemistry between Jeremy, Richard and James. They really seem like 3 best friends that are petrol heads having a good time and not just doing their job.

Favorite challenge of all time. They had to make their own cop cars. When Clarkson tries to stop the Stig and damn near has a horrible accident, I laughed hard for about 10 minutes the first time I saw it.

I'm not really, really into cars but Top Gear UK is fascinating and hilarious every time I've watched. Love it.

Check out their 'specials' on Netflix, they'll have you falling out of your seat laughing so hard. American one, Jungle one, and Africa are my favorites...

It's hilarious. Watched it Sunday night. They actually didn't make fun of America as much as they usually do.

I'm excited for this week's episode. Jeremy in a new GT500 racing to Milan against Hammond and May on the rail network.

The UK show has been a favorite for years now, and it's super easy to get episodes online at finalgear.com.

Tried watching the US version's season premiere the other day, and just couldn't get through it.

I rewatched the amphibious cars episode the other day:

Jeremy: I fit an outboard motor to the rear of the truck. Due to weight restrictions I could only use one since these things weigh 600 pounds or roughly one American.

I'm not a car guy at all, but I really enjoy the British Top Gear for this reason. It's hysterical. It's basically three ill-tempered alcoholics mucking about with cars.

I love the show, watch it whenever I can. Doesn't matter if it's a new episode or one thats several years old.

Here's one of my favorite segments where Jeremy drives the worlds smallest car.

Did you see the episode last night? He made a car smaller than that and called it the P45. 15 minutes of hilarity.

I never really took it as a distaste. We are an easy target for jokes, especially fat jokes.

My girlfriend watched an episode with me and she really like it. They have just enough technical stuff to keep people like me tuned in and just enough comedy and drama to keep non-car people tuned in.

Top Gear was one of the first shows I ever pirated, back when Tiff Needell was still hosting it. They never showed that version in the US and the only way to get it was to pirate it.

My wife doesnt mind it either. She finds it funny and will watch from time to time. Some of the hardest I've seen her laugh was the one where they made their own RVs.

I believe the Viet Nam, Iraq, and Artic episodes are the best. Viet Nam is hard to beat, but the look of them crossing syria in Burkas was great.
