Watching it right now and I forgot how GREAT this movie is. The cinematography alone is probably the best ever in a movie, but the movie itself is just perfect. It is the ultimate guy movie, and at the same time, it’s the perfect chic-flic.

Like I said, the perfect chic-flic, mixed with the perfect guy’s movie (with war, hunting, bootlegging, etc)

One of my favorites. Cinematography is amazing, and the score is incredible. Julia Ormond was hot af, and had the sexiest voice ever.

Julia Ormond

A slut who went through every brother. Bet they cut out the scenes where she was giving old dad some handies before he croaked.

I wanna bash it as a chick flick, but yeah. It's pretty good.

This can’t be mentioned enough, Bart the Bear was awesome, but his handler/best friend was the absolute man. I forget his name now. But at the time the movie was released , Brad & Jennifer Aniston were together so she was around the set & apparently they both befriended Bart’s handler & his wife. After the movie, they did a show on Animal Planet called “Growing up Grizzly”. Brad & Jen went out west to the handlers place & got a behind the scenes look at the bears. I highly recommend giving it a watch. He was training a pair of younger ones as Bart was aging & dying of cancer. There’s a part in there where he’s lying with Bart on the ground, near the end of his life and the guy starts tearing up. The bond they had was special. RIP Big Bart

It is good and has a score and some cinemetography amongst the best ever, but I read a review a long time ago that called the film "uneven". Despite being a college kid when I read that review, didn't know shite about film critique, etc., that description -uneven- made sense about LOTF. Anyone else have that underlying tone with the movie?

I'm in between finding a good show to binge and am home all day today recovering from minor surgery.

I think Legends of the Fall is an excellent movie choice for me to watch today. Thanks

OP . . . some thoughts should be kept to yourself. Or was this thread your official “coming out” announcement?

Legends of the Fall Brad Pitt was one of the hottest Brad Pitt characters imo.

That and this...

Meet Joe Black Brad Pitt

(another excellent movie with Anthony Hopkins that both men and women can enjoy)
