Well OP is just bringing up the full transition we've had from Superhero (where we know, costumes and shite) to...well, Superhero! (But we're not supposed to know, no costumes and such...unless a MIB suit counts as a costume?)
Right now we have Two incognito "regular guy" superheroes dominating the screens.
Wick and the Equalizer...
One can take all the punishment in the world but has to fight long and hard for victory.
The other seems tired and worn out from just hiking up a flight of stairs but can go full Bourne at a Hulk flip of the switch and dispatch a house full of Italian gangsters in 10 seconds.
I don't which suspension of disbelief I prefer.

I saw the trailer for Sisu when I went to see John Wick 4 at the theater. Was hyped to see it.
Finally did last week, it didn’t disappoint.
I am not prepared to say it’s better than John Wick, nor will I defend John Wick as being preferable to Sisu. They’re different, both great in their own right. You can throw Equalizer I in the mix too.

Well and they just give him $3500 in guns and about $500 in ammo. It's a fun movie, but I just have a difficult time buying into all the stuff.
I mean a Benelli m4 alone would be $2000 for fricks sake and armor piercing 12 guage rounds. Oh well.I guess he has gold coins lol.

I recently watched the first 3 John Wicks. They were okay, but not really my vibe. The action was really well choreographed though, so that was impressive. I just didn’t love it like most people do. I plan to watch 4 soon (have it recorded on my dvr).
SISU was awesome though. Not sure why but I loved it. And it’s even more ridiculous than JW in terms of surviving stuff.
I haven’t seen the Equalizer movies but I think I may check those out soon. I’ve heard good things and I always like Denzel in pretty much anything.

I hated the over use of the jacket in Wick 4. It was dumb. I guess they needed something to explain how he wasn't being killed in a gunfight with 30 people but it was still dumb.
Don't take me wrong, I love the series and for the most part all 4 movies but the bulletproof suit was a poor excuse for a crutch in 4. And don't get me started on the stairway fight scene which I think was nothing more than an elaborate Family Guy troll.

Wick gets more ridiculous with each installment. The first one is a pretty good movie and 4 is pretty meh.
Too much bulletproof suit, a blind unstoppable assassin and rolling down seemingly 500 steps... I mean I enjoy some mindless action now and then but come on. It's beautiful to look at but too much suspension of belief.
Sisu is great and the main character speaks even less than Wick.

We never saw a dead body. Just two guys talking at an alleged grave. So they can bring him back if they ever want to but I assume Keanu is tired of the role.
