and continue on??? I’m still frustrated that this show is done! Currently rewatching and getting more aggravated. This makes absolutely no sense…

The first thing is every major cog in the machine has to want it to continue. That is often not the case even if other reasons are give.
BL seems to have been cancelled for cost because it ran through the Freevee universe.
I don't understand the financials associated with streaming but I am fascinated that a well-received and watched (relative to streaming) show can't be financially viable. That said, continuing shows often gets a lot more expensive as the years go on for a multitude of reasons.

I didn't enjoy Bosch Legacy's 1st season. Remember people mentioning a season 2, but haven't thought about it since. Let me know if they bring back the regular Bosch show.

Loved Bosch but it was time to end it.

Be frustrated no more.
A continuation of Connelly's books.

No

Good find. I was expecting a Chandler spinoff, especially since they just let the issue with the City Councilman go unanswered. I guess this will be one of her cases.
Regarding Bosch ending, they needed to end it to avoid dragging it along like they did the original Bosch series

Not a fricking chance. Such a bitter, depressing character.

halfway through this final season and it's more of the same jumbled mess. The Bosch stuff is very good, but the Chandler and Maddie stuff is nearly insufferable.

You should be thankful the combined series lasted 10 seasons, with 10 episodes each season, and they managed to release all ten seasons within an eleven year span.
How often does that happen these days with streaming services? Shortened seasons, multi-year waits between seasons, and cancellations after only two or three seasons if the norm.

Hopefully Bosch will play a decent role in it. My thoughts are if he isn’t involved it won’t make it.

I just listened to the audio book the new series is based on, and Bosch does have a decent role in it, but he is not one of the main characters. Hopefully they will follow the book on that one.

He'll be in it, but Maggie Q will be the lead as Renee Ballard. She can hold her own.

This. The original run had so many great supporting characters. They ditched them all to focus on the 2 worst.
I liked the lesbian lieutenant from the original run way more than Chandler and Maddie.

I didn’t really understand the last episode. It introduced Ballard but left a lot hanging out there
