Well, How do you think he poops in space?

This is true. As a black comic reader I knew who Black Panther was, but I was mostly into the X-Men and Spiderman. One could make the argument though, that Iron Man wasn't a top tier character for Marvel comics IMO.
Honestly, I though Iron Man (comics) was boring. RDJ really made him a great character for the MCU

Other than the Mandalorian, Disney+ blows.
If you have kids it’s worth every penny. Believe it or not, some adults don’t just sit around watching Star Wars.

As much as Disney likes being inclusive, they like making money more. Post TLJ you had Kathleen Kennedy and Johnson running around basically calling Star Wars fans sexist pigs. Then Solo tanked. And the opening of Star Wars Galaxys Edge was underwhelming.
So they bring back JJ, hire Kevin Feige to help out with creative direction, and make RoS basically invalidate TLJ. I mean, the only thing you need to know is that Luke dies. That’s a pretty powerful message.
The Mandalorian is a lot of fun. And I like taking the franchise back to the high Republic years. They can make movies in the universe without worrying about any constraints from the Saga stories. It’s a great idea.

I think they kind of hit a perfect storm the last 4-5 years with the culmination of the original MCU arc, excitement over a new Star Wars trilogy, and live-action remakes of their most famous/beloved works.
Now that their MCU power hitters (RDJ/Evans) are gone, a noticeable decline in excitement over the Star Wars franchise, and they've run out of the good classics to adapt, there will definitely be some decline.
They'll still do well, but I don't think they can count on every release being a billion-dollar maker like they have the last several years.

Disagree 100%.
Every time we don’t have something to watch we open Disney + and watch something. It has endless content. They’ve had some great original content.
The Imagineers is fantastic

Just let Favereau do the next Star Wars film
I would like for Disney to no longer make any full length films in the SWU.
I'd rather them do some live action TV shows, or some more animated shows.

There’s not even a first page thread about Rise of Skywalker. The Last Jedi dominated this board for at least a year.
And why do you suppose that is the case?

Ditto. I could open our list at any time and find something for the family. I added it up and we have 300+ hours of content to watch and we’ve done a ton already.
The newer content is limited but I’ve enjoyed the world according to Jeff Goldbloom, imagineers, Togo, and Mandalorian. The new Marvel stuff is just icing on the cake.
Hell its worth it to just watch Phineas and Ferb with my kids.... and they’re going to make more for Disney+ as well.

I agree with this. The recent Disney run is pretty unprecedented.
I will say I don't think Disney has any challengers on the horizon, though. Disney probably fades just a bit, but so will the overall parade of massive moneymakers we've seen.

Looking at the Marvel and Disney content for 2020 it is a lot of stuff I don't recognize but I guarantee some of that will become major hits in the next year. As for Disney+, I love it. I would have the service for the catalog alone. The original content is just icing on the cake.

Given how much money they are about to make this year... if this is hitting a wall than may I run into this wall headfirst for the rest of my life.
Disney will be just fine.

The drip feeding is brilliant b/c it keep conversation about their shows going on for much longer than you get with Netflix and their binge model.
Outdated way of thinking about media. This is what killed the television market and drew people to Netflix. The binge model allows for the viewer to influence the media as now it's more of an evolutionary model instead of a "breeding" model of entertainment where the studios decides the content and shows only gets cancelled when ratings dip too low to outpace ad revenue.
The studios trying to drag the consumer back into the 80's is only going to increase the exodus to competitors that are going to give the audience the experience they want which is on demand.

I also feel like non-Spiderman Marvel films will take a hit post-Endgame, but at this point, Marvel could film a dog taking a shite and it still reach almost a billion dollars.
Like, Thor, (a proper)Fantastic Four, (a proper)X-Men, Guardians, Deadpool, Black Panther, Hulk vs Wolverine(it’s coming?)And an Avengers movie with some of these characters anchoring it?
‘Nuff said.

Yes Disney is about to hit a wall because there are no threads on the from page of an LSU message board.

The thread on Marvel’s next slate is underwhelming at best, downright boring really. I don’t even know what a Wandavision is.
It’s underwhelming only because of what it’s following. It looks pretty solid imo.
