Don’t think her role in the MCU will be a very long or productive one with these types of comments. She only wants to make movies with some hidden activism behind them which the MCU has been devoid of at this point.

After Endgame that could change and they become the new Star Wars. But I hope she also knows the majority of people seeing her movie is white males.

I honestly don't understand people in Hollywood. For huge movies, they need all political parties and both men and women to attend their films.

Wrinkle in time was garbage. There are plenty of female reviewers that thought it was garbage.

Those men she shrugs off have kids and it is a kids movie. They take their kids to movies.

I just don't get clowns in any form of entertainment who purposely antagonize the folks they need to buy tickets.

I would never even think to sit down with one of our clients and question their politics and tell them how wrong they are about everything. If I did that, my arse would be fired 45 seconds after I left the room.

All of this,.

Plus, anyone making $5 million for 6-8 months of work should probably, kindly be quiet about oppression, class struggles, etc.

BP was up last night for our MCU rewatch. It's funny when some of these hobos pretend it isn't a good movie.

It's an amazing film. I hope it wins Best Picture at the Oscars.

They don't have to pretend. It's not a good movie.

I want this to be good because I want them to wrap up the infinity gauntlet arc well, but this is one of the only Marvel movies I haven't gotten excited about. Her acting looks wooden. Like she is trying for stoic but failing. It also has a bit of a Green Lantern vibe without the charisma or levity of Ryan Reynolds.

Don't care what this does to Cap Marvel. But if she somehow finds a way to let some SJW crap ruin Endgame, I'm gonna go ballistic.
I don't see any way how it could happen but stranger things have happened.

The liberal fantasies about being oppressed are tiresome but I don’t think her comments will impact the box office

I saw an article the other day that said this movie is tracking for $80-100 million opening weekend, not good by Marvel standards. The Marvel name should be enough to ensure its a big hit though. Brie is a real uppity bitch but all the test screening reviews, and spoilers, I've read suggest this movie ties in heavily to the Infinity War story and to the overall MCU so it will be worth seeing for that.

Which is what I’m afraid of and have been afraid of since Fury sent the call to Marvel at the end of IW.

It’s been mostly a boys party since the first Iron Man and here comes Miss Marvel to save the day. I really hope they don’t go that route but Thanos is the villain for the Avengers and it should be up to them to take him out. Not some brand new heroine that is supercharged to take out the most powerful dude in cinematic history.

I don’t disagree but after Infinity War I don’t see any way the current Avengers could fight back unless they get new help.

Which is why I’m hoping for a more Thanos-focused story again. Maybe more so than IW.

We need to see Thanos’s depth as he comprehends exactly what he’s done and what he possesses and see something development in himself that gives The Avengers the chance to win.

He’s essentially God right now and anyone beating him in power will feel cheap. Especially a Lone Ranger in Captain Marvel.

Who says they have to overpower Thanos? Watch the ending of Ant Man and Wasp again. Captain Marvel should expand on this a bit.

Wouldn't be shocking as Disney is setting up Rey to be the actual "chosen one" of the Star Wars universe.

I see your point. They did set up Thanos nicely, as he was in anguish and Gomorrah and didn’t seem thrilled at the end of the movie. Maybe he has regret.

No shite. I guess this movie isn't for me since I'm a white male. Oh well, I'll keep my $40 and watch something else. I definitely don't want to sit through a 120 minute long girl power / 4th wave feminist diatribe. Marvel might want to shut this dumb count up before she ruins their golden goose.
