About 30mins in and I gotta say,,,, little disappointed. Maybe this thread built it up too much, but I'm still waiting on the point of the movie to show itself. Hopefully it gets better

The dude right here can wait two years to post in a thread, but can't wait an hour and half to finish the movie.

Well.......it was made for kids, not 40 year old single guys living with their mom.

It's my second favorite Pixar movie next to Toy Story and it's not even really close for me.

RIP Bing Bong. Never forget. That is the most brutal death in a Pixar movie as far as I'm concerned. I'm still not over it.

It teaches a good lesson to kids: you have to murder your childhood, kill your dreams, and destroy your hopes in order to grow up. But new dreams and hopes will rise from the ashes. Sadness and destruction is a necessity for happiness and creativity.

It teaches us that women are sad and men are angry, and being an adult isn't fun.

There's a lot of truth in this statement.

But it also shows that most people have a go-to emotion, but we need them all. And the sacrifices you make can pay-off.

My wife got bored about halfway through so we never finished it. The only funny scene was when the mom is trying to signal the dad to "put the foot down" lol

I thought it was Meh

It got boring to me as well. I enjoyed the message. Liked the characters well enough. But it just seemed, idk, empty..? It lost me somewhere in the middle. It's been a while since I've seen it, but I definitely remember it being boring. And I LOVE Pixar.

I watched this in October 2016, and I thought it was absolutely brilliant. It was a truly beautiful, sad, and thought-provoking film. Pixar is one of Crown Jewels of modern entertainment.

The real world animation was bleh and boilerplate for Pixar. The Inside was fantastic, especially the dream production lot.
