I was expecting, "I can do this all day" from Captain America. Has kind of become his signature line. I'd be shocked if we don't hear it in the next one.

(I could see it something like this if indeed Cap gets waxed in the sequel: Cap is fighting some villain much more powerful than he is and Cap keeps coming. "I can do this all day." When Thanos/villain realizes Captain America is never going to stop, he kills Cap with his big weapon/power - gauntlet, maybe)

The Kree didn't have the power stone. It was on Xandar being protected by the Nova Corps.

The thing I'm wondering about captain marvel, where is she that she needs Fury to page her to let her know help is needed? The whole universe was effected by the snap. Is she somewhere that's not impacted? She's somewhere far away obviously, but where?

At first I thought you said "Poor Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), she's going to beat off Tony Stark."

It was the hip roller-coaster ride of that season.

Because hipsters love watching movies about people crying over a tree being cut down.

I think Thanos already realizes this. When Cap holds back the gauntlet and Thanos makes that look, I think it was the Soul Gem revealing who Steve Rogers really is and that he may be one of the noblest beings Thanos has ever encountered. Much like when Steve moved Thor's hammer because he was worthy. Thanos wasn't surprised by Cap's strength, but his spirit. I believe this may come into play in Avengers 4.

I hope all of this is true.

That's definitely not the reason.

Can't believe that, in this thread, you went with Sheldon as the example.

Me too. That would be badass. I wonder in the coming interviews with the Russo’s if someone will ask them what Thanos was thinking when Steve was holding back the Gauntlet

I hope it’s something along the lines of what that guy said

Side note about Captain Marvel: Maybe she’s so damn powerful that she secluded herself on another planet, afraid of what she can do and how much destruction she can cause. I don’t see her being on Earth all this time. There’s just no way she wouldn’t help, especially in the first Avengers with the alien invasion, maybe not with Ultron but she’s cosmic and should know the threat during the first one. I’m sure Feige and company have had all this shite planned out for a while. I’m sure it will be something logical

I don't think Cap was supposed to be the primary player here. I'm sure he'll be more involved in the next one.

I think we see world breaker Hulk in the next installment. Big guy ain't going out like a punk to Thanos. He's gonna boot stomp some arse.
