This evening during the Olympic coverage is all we know at this point. And we aren't certain that it's a full trailer or more of a teaser like what has already been released.

Seems like parenting is the major theme of this one. Plus the original Incredibles trailer played it very close to the chest as well. Pixar is good about not spoiling their films in the trailer.

Good trailer. The animation looks fantastic.
If I had to guess, the new twist is that when reintroducing the few supers back into the public they want to push stretchy mom as the new face of justice.
Mr. Incredible has to take a back seat.

Holy shite! I said this exact thing to my kids as soon as it was over.
Mr. Mom is a damned good movie and would be a good ripoff if done right (they have a track record: Cars = Doc Hollywood).

With Pixar, for all we know the trailer could be just from the first 20 minutes of the movie

Yeah, we really know nothing of the plot which is great. No idea who the bad guy is. And we only saw one "new" character yet we know there are a bunch more based on the voice actors and drawings.
Sometimes, people are so quick to read into "underlying" BS that they can't just enjoy a movie that was written just to be enjoyable. People called Wall-E preachy and it really wasn't.

FYI, that "new math" joke goes back to the 1960's when the post-Sputnik U.S. began to change how elementary teachers taught the subject.

It sounded like Jason Lee(Syndrome) was voicing the agent in the short clip. I guessing he may be Syndrome’s brother and is your classic “out for revenge” baddie. Just a uneducated guess.
