I go with The Stranger every now and then so it wouldn't be that bad.

Amanda Seyfried was terrible in this movie as well.

Seriously? She is hot! Who cares about her acting? The eye candy she provides should have been enough.

Seyfried was terrible. So was JT, and I like him. The general consensus on here after it came out was basically that it was a really cool concept that was executed really poorly. Cillian Murphy was also disappointing.

yes, IMO for the comedic scenes; i havent seen anything in which i thought he was good in a serious role.

Movie was entertaining enough for me to finish. We were laughing at a lot of the scenes though. The arm wrestling and when his friend "drank himself to death" after being given a decade were good stuff

Timberlake is a solid actor, this movie just sucked all around. He got great reviews for Inside Llewyn Davis, was really the only thing I found redeeming about Alpha Dog, and is really good in comedic roles.

Just another anti-capitalism film by hollywood. In this case currency was time and those who controlled the time obviously did so to the detriment of others.

Boring

It's a movie. It doesn't have to be political.

he is, but it's imperative that he has a good script to work with for him to be good

Absolutely.

"The Stranger" method is legit IMO

The obvious answer is that the arm lives on without the body. The poor body ran out of time. It would be like "hand" from the Munsters.

Duh.

ETA: His mom dying in his arms was ridiculously predictable.

I liked the concept of the movie, decent cast, but thought it was poorly executed.
