I'll wait for it to stream with captions on because of his intentional frickery with the dialogue track. Interstellar was my last cinema rodeo, I just got around to Oppenheimer not that long ago, and I still haven't seen Tenent or Dunkirk, although I will obviously watch Dunkirk at some point - with the captions on, of course).

Thank you.

(ETA: I hate captions. I use them only when absolutely necessary.)

Tried watching Tenet, plot was too confusing.

I did not realize Sir Elliot madam Page was in this….wonder if she is a brother or sister in the film.

Insomnia is good, but it doesn’t “feel” like a Nolan movie to me.

It’s a cookie-cutter thriller about a kidnapped Alaskan girl, and Pacino is a California detective that is brought in and hired to find her.

The 24 hours of daylight in Alaska throws Pacino off and he struggles to keep track of what’s real and what isn’t.

That’s how I remember it anyway.

I didn't even know this upcoming movie existed until I saw the trailer last night. Not sure I'm in enough to schedule a year out, but it the early trailer looked good enough for me to maybe buy a ticket when it's actually in theaters.

Wow how did I miss this announcement? I love Homers epics. Seems like the last true adaptation was the old Armand Asante tv miniseries, right? Excluding of course retellings like Oh Brother, etc.

Interstellar in 70mm IMAX ruined every other rewatch I will ever have.

I am partial to say my HT experience blows away theaters. The one exception is 70mm.

All Lincoln Square showings sold out in less than 3 minutes

People are going to try and resell them for a profit I imagine

If the trailers and early word of mouth are good as we expect of Nolan...this will do ridiculous, earth shattering numbers, worldwide

Yeah the more I think about it, Damon as Odysseus is a pretty weak casting choice

Damon as the smartest man on Earth is a hard sell for me. For some reason Nolan sees him as just that as this is the second time he’s had that role.

At least it’s not Pedro Pascal.

Christian Bale would have been awesome as Odysseus

See Nolan’s bringing in actors from prior films as is his custom…. Page, Damon, Pattinson, Hathaway.

I still think Damon is terribly miscast in this film and I hate the Oddysey.

But I'll still see this opening weekend on an Imax just because that's just what you do when a Nolan film premieres.

Yeah think Bale would’ve been the perfect casting
