Springer maybe because he was a daytime trash television guy. With the exception of Oprah they don't get much respect.
Norm, Chuck, and Hogan are terrible omissions.
I never knew Peter Cullen's name until he was recognized after passing. I'm glad he's gotten as much recognition as he has though.
Nicholas Brendon is one I don't recognize even having watched Buffy at one point.
Robert Redford was omitted but he's obviously a movie star rather than television star. Did Redford ever star in a television show?

No. He was in a lot of shows but only in one or two episodes a piece.

I know there were some people upset James Ransome was left off as well.
It felt like with all of the massive names, there were fewer people included in the in memoriam section this year, but I could also definitely be wrong about that.
