You're exactly right, outside of Rory the other 3 guys were vanilla interchangeable white guys. None of them stuck out and were completely nondescript. Which kind of drove the point of the movie home that golf is boring now.

Contrast that with the dinner with legends, who had personality and charm also.

But yes, the movie needed way more shooter

That’s not really fair. The Zalatoris and Scheffler bits were outstanding, and wouldn’t have worked with anybody else. I agree that some of the other involved golfers were boring, but they aren’t actors or comedians so that is to be expected IMO. They were just there for golf credibility and to read their lines when told to. Seeing Bryson and Rory read lines about nipples isn’t funny to me. Seeing Scottie interact with the cops and Zalatoris as the OG caddy were fantastic.

Also, i had no idea who Bad Bunny is/was. But i agree he was good in this. He seems pretty naturally funny.

Ya I wasn't referring to him. I was just talking about the final act. His scenes were great.

If I’m going to be overly critical on one part it’s how Happys drive killed Virginia. I said “Jesus Christ that’s dark for a movie like this” to my wife

Thought it was weird Happy killed his wife with a drive then they do a drill at practice trying to hit the guy with drives. Felt kind of like they forgot the entire plot.

This might have been the worst movie I've ever seen, which is hard to do for a comedy that doesn't take itself too seriously. I chuckled a couple times, but no wonder it went straight to Netflix.

I was expecting bad and it was way worse.
